Greek Yogurt, Honey, and Granola

People are always looking for opportunities to eat more protein. Whether you are working out or do not want to feel hungry throughout the day, protein is the queen of staying full. People buy little containers of yogurt to go and that can add up over time because buying more in America usually comes out cheaper. So, in this post, I am recommending making your own yogurt with three simple ingredients that can be accentuated with fruit or other topping. Specifically, the three main ingredients will be plain Greek yogurt, honey, and granola. 

Items you need:

  1. Greek Yogurt non-fat or your preference
  2. Honey any type is fine, but Orange blossom is best
  3. Granola blend with almonds if possible

The first step is to scoop out the yogurt you will have and drizzle honey and mix them. Mix as much honey as you want to taste. The less honey you add the more bitter the yogurt will be. However, you don't want to over sweeten the yogurt as well, so the key is to find a quality medium. Once you have the yogurt to taste, sprinkle the amount of granola you wish to eat. The best ratio is that every bit is a mix of crunch and creamy bite. 

Whether you are relaxing in the morning or need to quickly be on the go. This snack is great in protein and will make you feel full and relaxed until lunch time in order to avoid snacking throughout the day. Have it in the morning or afternoon because with some coffee or tea and enjoy this delightful snack that can be a new staple in your diet!
